My size is usually a size eight (ruffly 25 cm) but my calf is 15 5/8", I'm wondering what size would be recommended ?: Hello! It's possible this style may just be too small in the calf for you. Even if you were to bump up to a size 9, the calf measurements still don't allow for an almost 16" calf, which looks like would require a size 12. The lace-up front provides a bit of wiggle room - but if you let it out too much you'll expose leg on either side of the tongue of the boot, and the buckles may not fasten.
