Do these run true to size?
These run small. Size up one full size. Pin Up Couture does not carry half sizes. If between sizes, go up.
How does the heel affect the wearability of this style?
The 2.5-inch block heel provides a stable, wide base that distributes weight evenly underfoot. Block heels are significantly more comfortable for extended wear than stilettos of the same height, and most customers find these walkable and comfortable from early on.
Who is this style designed for?
Rockabilly fans, pinup enthusiasts and vintage fashion lovers who want a classic pointed-toe pump for swing dance events, burlesque shows, retro photoshoots and vintage themed occasions.
What should I know before wearing the Wiggle-32 for the first time?
Walk around the home first on a flat surface to find your balance and let the upper soften. The PU construction softens with wear and becomes more comfortable after the first few uses. Wearing them with socks for the first few uses can help soften the material and reduce friction.
Is this style vegan, how do I care for it, and how long will it last?
This style is fully vegan. Wipe clean with a damp cloth after each wear and store in a cool dry place between uses. With regular care the construction holds up well across events and regular vintage occasion wear.
What do customers say about this style?
Customers note that the Wiggle runs small and consistently recommend sizing up one full size. Once correctly sized, customers praise the comfortable block heel and the classic pointed silhouette. The style is popular for vintage events, rockabilly occasions and retro photoshoots.
How much break-in is needed?
The PU upper softens with the first few wears and the heel settles quickly. Walk around the home first before wearing to events. Wearing them with socks for the first few uses can help soften the material and reduce friction.
How does the Wiggle compare to the Flapper?
The Wiggle is a pointed-toe pump with a sleek, close-fitting silhouette ideal for a sharp retro look. The Flapper is a T-strap pump with a more open, strappy design that is slightly easier to put on. Both share a block heel; the Wiggle is the more streamlined option.
