"I wanted so bad for these shoes to work, I have had each pair (3) snap while pushing off for a reverse grip spin the first 2 only after a couple uses, For my third pair before it snapped and shortly after, only a month or so of casual use, only one of them would charge and the other would charge but stay in one mode. @shoefreaks was amazing with returns and service. But the shoe itself, I would say is for strictly pole work, as they snap easily, which I believe is because of the placement of the USB connect and light itself. The placement, directly in the centre of the arch, makes the shoe fragile and snap with very minimal impact. Which is why I would recommend use while primarily doing pole or light floor work. Again, shoe freaks provided wonderful service But for the flashdance style, the shoes are very fragile and for short term use, in my experience. If I were to buy again. I would choose a lower height, to possibly avoid tension on the arch. Also I would get a cheaper pair, as the lighting mechanism does not last long. In all three sets of flamingo style, they snapped, and the lighting stopped working"
